Meet the Founders
Vitalis was born out of real conversations, deep fatigue, and a shared desire to feel better — not just physically, but emotionally and mentally, too. As friends, parents, professionals, and wellness seekers, we kept saying the same thing:
We Built the Space We Couldn't Find
We didn’t want a gym. We didn’t want a one-size-fits-all treatment.
We wanted something in between — a space that felt elevated but easy, beautiful but approachable, designed for real life and real people.
So we created it.
We’re three Wilson County families who love this town and believe in what’s possible when people are supported — and connected. We’re not backed by a big corporation or franchised wellness brand. We're your neighbors. We're in it with you.
Our goal is to create something that genuinely improves your quality of life. A place where you can reset your nervous system, reconnect with others, and reclaim the energy you’ve been missing.
That healing doesn’t have to be extreme — it can be small, consistent, and joyful
That restoration is more powerful when done in community
That your wellness routine should be something you look forward to, not something you have to do
That creating space for yourself can (and should) feel really good
We’re six founders, three couples, one shared vision:
to create a space that helps people feel more like themselves again.
Katelyn is a strategic business coach and systems expert who’s spent years helping other entrepreneurs streamline their businesses and create more space in their lives. She also spent six years working in the PR and Marketing industry prior to launching her own business. She brings the operational backbone and marketing brain to Vitalis.
James owns Hamilton Home Inspections and brings a sharp eye for detail and a steady, grounded presence to everything he touches. He was previously a retail store manager prior to starting his own business, which was born out of a desire for more time freedom and flexibility to spend with his family.
Navigating their own health journeys, James and Katelyn are passionate about making wellness work for busy people — especially families navigating full seasons of life.
Chelsea is the founder of The BreatheWell Group, where she specializes in MyoFunctional Therapy, infant oral motor function, and lactation support. Her journey began as a mom seeking answers — and turned into a mission to help families thrive. With certifications in Orofacial Myology, Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, and as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Chelsea brings deep clinical expertise and a holistic approach to early intervention and nervous system support. She’s passionate about creating lifelong impact by addressing health at the root — starting from infancy.
Chris is the owner of CCC Enterprises and Nobility Home Renovations, and a lifelong Wilson County resident. With a background in mechanics, fleet management, and now custom remodeling, Chris brings over a decade of experience in project management and problem-solving. His craftsmanship and attention to detail helped bring the Vitalis space to life — ensuring that form, function, and flow came together beautifully.
Together, Chelsea and Chris are building more than wellness — they’re building spaces and experiences that support real healing, inside and out.
Samantha brings warmth, purpose, and a deep love for people to everything she does. With a background in theology and a lifelong passion for wellness, she’s a natural connector and advocate for intentional living. As a mom of four and co-leader of TruRoots, she understands firsthand the importance of making space for restoration in the midst of a full life.
Dr. Evan is the founder of TruRoots Health, our next-door neighbor and wellness collaborator. His passion for chiropractic care started early, after seeing how it helped his father avoid surgery and regain quality of life. That experience shaped his belief in proactive, whole-body care — and led to his work helping families feel and function their best every day.
With a background in exercise science and years of clinical practice, Evan is known for his heart-led approach and commitment to the community. He’s passionate about making wellness approachable, effective, and part of everyday life.
Together, Samantha and Evan are passionate about helping families thrive and building a wellness culture in Mount Juliet that’s rooted in faith, community, and care that lasts.
Vitalis is the wellness club we needed.
It’s also the one we’re proud to build with you, together.
Thank you for being part of this vision. We can’t wait to welcome you in.
